Adaptive frequency hopping technology is one of the most important trends in frequency hopping communication systems.It is based on the Real Time Channel Evaluation and adaptively avoids the interference or poor quality hopping subchannels according to the channel state,thus maintaining a long and reliable communication link.Therefore,it has strong anti-fading,anti-interception and anti-jamming capability.In this paper,adaptive frequency hopping algorithm design and implementation of key modules based on FPGA are studied respectively.Firstly the research situations and future development trends of frequency hopping communication are introduced.Then,the theoretical basis,basic principle,main parameters and main characteristics of the common frequency hopping communication system are analyzed in detail.Besides,the basic principle,mathematical model and common classification of adaptive frequency hopping communication system are further studied,and the key technology of adaptive frequency hopping is enumerated from the angle of realization,which lays a solid foundation for further research of the following chapters.Secondly the snr estimation algorithm applied to the application scene in the digital receiver is studied,and the simulation results are provided for the design of adaptive frequency hopping algorithm.On the basis of the mathematical model of snr estimation,several real-time snr estimation algorithms are studied,and the performance of these algorithms is compared through simulation results.Combined with the application scene of this paper,the most suitable algorithm SSME is analyzed,the exact expression is given,the design of its main parameters is introduced in detail,followed by the final simulation results.At last,the key modules of FPGA implementation is the focus of this study.The overall design and main parameters of the system are given,and the hardware platform used in this paper is briefly summarized.Then FPGA design method of key modules is discussed in detail from transmitter and receiver,and the correctness of module function is verified by Chipscope,oscilloscope and spectrum instrument.
