Data association algorithms play an important role in the field of radar data processing,the tracking accuracy of which determines the correctness of the target track reported by the radar.OTHR has the advantages of over the horizon detection,anti stealth and long distance warning.However,OTHRs are exposed to some tough problems like multi-path effect.To solve above issues,this paper develops some multi-path data association algorithms special for OTHRS.These algorithms are also expanded from the perspective of engineering application.Taking into account the actual mismatch of models,this paper builds a complete OTHR multi-path data association system which is close to practical application,and gives the detailed comparison of the performance.Firstly,the paper presents the target tracking system of sky wave radar,mainly includes ionospheric model,target tracking model and clutter model.The ionospheric model is used to model ionospheric stratification by analyzing the cause of multipath effect.The target tracking model gives the motion model of the target and measurement model of the system under multipath propagation.Based on the movement of constant velocity target of the OTHR measurements,this paper gives the motion equation of the target.Besides,and the OTHR plane measurement model is also given in this paper,derive the transformation between target state and multi-path measurements based on geometric relations.The causes of the multi-path effect are analyzed.On this basis,the clutter model is added to form a complete OTHR target tracking environment.Secondly,in this paper,three multipath data association algorithms,MPDA based on Probability Data Association,MACDA based on Ant colony algorithm and MPMHT based on Expectation maximization,which are classic and of high engineering value,are analyzed theoretically and verified by simulation,the ability to solve multipath effects and the tracking accuracy are emphatically studied.This paper analyses the advantages and disadvantages of the three multipath data association algorithms,the applicable conditions of each algorithm are also given.In engineering application,these algorithms can be selected according to the actual situation.Then,in this paper,the MPDA for uncertain coordinate registration(MPCR)and autonomous multi model MPDA algorithm(AMM-MPDA)under ionospheric uncertainty are studied to solve the problem of ionospheric model mismatch.Simulation results show that the above algorithms can effectively solve the problem of ionospheric height uncertainty and has good tracking performance.Finally,this article adjusts the structure of Kalman filter in data association algorithms,in order to solve the problem of mismatch of target motion model in practice,avoids the divergence of filtering results.
