In the era of knowledge economy,knowledge and technology are increasingly stimulating economic development.Technological advances have intensified competition among companies,and placed higher demands on technological innovation.Smartphone brands from the USA and Korea have long dominated the market,while Chinese smartphone enterprises have little and lower levels of technological innovation,and thus relatively weak global competitiveness.It is imperative for them to change.Graphene has experienced rapid growth in technological innovation activities since it was prepared,which can bring about tremendous changes in the smartphone area.This article first summarizes the existing literature and theories from the aspects of technological innovation,patent analysis,graphene and technological innovation of smartphone enterprises.Using the patent data from Derwent Innovation Index,firstly,development trend,level and potential of the smartphone technology based on graphene are analyzed,providing technological information for smartphone enterprises.Secondly,Samsung and LG are used as samples to build a patent portfolio model at the technological level.Through the analysis,emphasis of technological innovation resouces is found out.The research results show that,Samsung should continue to maintain its core competitiveness while LG should increase R&D in the field of applications and services;They should adjust in the field of human-computer interaction and pay close attention to the field of low-power consumption.Finally,based on previous analysis results,the article concludes with six suggestions on promoting the technological innovation for smartphone enterprises from a macroscopic view.
