In 2015,Tu Youyou became the first Chinese scientist to win a Nobel Prize in medicine for her discovery of the Nobel Prize in physiology or medicine.Tu's award quickly brought international media's attention to Chinese medicine, especially Chinese medicine. The international mainstream media, represented by The Washington Post,Germany's Die Welt and Japan's Asahi Shimbun, responded most enthusiastically. In review of research of this paper,by analyzing of the concept of "the other",and the meaning of the changes in different disciplines in the field of journalism and mass media and the framework of discourse, the combination of study in the Washington post,Die Welt and Asahi Shimbun as the main research objects of the foreign media in Tu won the Nobel Prize in medicine in the report of the construction of China "other image",and the connection between the "other image " and the traditional orientalism. Finally, the paper discusses how the " other image " is presented in the news report in a"heterogeneous" state in the "homogenization" brought by the increasingly close pattern of globalization and the world pattern.Research Findings:A.In the news coverage of Tu Youyou's Nobel Prize, the newspapers of the three countries were mainly negative, and the proportion of negative stories was more than 57.1%.However,the specific reporting forms adopted were different.B.In the news framework of the Chinese "other image ",there are differences in both the focus and the core issues in the news frame of the three countries'newspapers.C.In the aspect of news quoting,it mainly adopts the coverage and attitude of a few elite media, which reflects the logic of western capitalist powers' reporting on China.
