With the rapid development of the economy in China,whether in the traditional construction field,or in the rapid development of communication industry,video monitoring system plays an irreplaceable role,so it has become a hot topic of research.The wired video surveillance system needs to implement network cabling.The process is complex,and the monitoring distance is limited and cost much.In view of the shortcomings of wired video surveillance,we designed and realized a system that within a certain transmission distance,PCs and mobile clients can achieve real-time monitoring of specific areas through wireless networks.The system capture video data through the camera peripherals module of the development board,and then processes the video information collected through the server.Finally,the server transmits the processed video information to the client through the wireless network.The TQ2440 development board is used as the hardware platform of the system.Based on this hardware platform,the matching underlying software environment is built,including the installation of the cross compiler tool chain,the transplantation of Bootloader,Linux kernel,and the construction of the root file system,which is specially suitable for this system.The software design of the system mainly includes server software design,client software design,camera module and wireless network card module driver code design.The implementation of the main part of the system server is through an open source software,transplanting MJPG-Streamer to the development board,it used to control acquisition and transmission of video information.The video data acquisition module is realized through the V4L2 interface function provided by the Linux kernel;the video data transmission module is realized by the related technology of Socket network communication,and then can achieve the goal of stable transmission of video data stream.The video data receiving module is implemented through PC browser and mobile phone client.Based on Android system,a simple APP client of mobile phone is designed,which satisfies the functions of real-time monitoring and photographing of video and image data.Meanwhile,in order to make the software have a good function expansibility,the extended application interface is reserved on the original basis.Through the testing of each module,it is determined that each module operates normally,and then the overall performance of the system is tested.and the desired results are achieved.After the system initialization,the camera and wireless network card peripherals can be correctly identified.After the wireless network signals sent on the server side,the PC WEB browser and the mobile phone guest are available.Users can receive stable,fluent and clear video.
