In recent years,the state has been strongly supporting the research and development of marine science in order to make more efficient and rational use of China's rich marine resources.In particular,after China put forward the marine strategy,the research of marine science and the development of related engineering technology enter a period of rapid development.In the process of ocean development,it is crucial to analyze the influencing factors such as wind,wave and current in the marine environment.And we need to analyze these factors must obtain their specific data.The traditional wave-height data acquisition system are mostly using a serial port cable transmission.However,with the heavy environment,we have a lot of limitations of engineering quality inspection which needs many measuring points.With the development of the wireless communication technology,WiFi has been popularly used in people's life and industry,with its high speed and strong reliability.In this paper,we are aiming at the shortcomings existing wave-height data acquisition system,and combined with WiFi technology,we developed a wave-height data acquisition system which based on WiFi.According to the actual application requirements,this part of the system consists of hardware part and software part.The hardware part mainly includes wave height sensor and analog voltage signal processing circuit.The software part mainly includes modules: instrument calibration,data acquisition and data storage and so on.Firstly,in this paper,the background of the research,the data acquisition technology and the WiFi technology are briefly introduced.The future development trend of the data acquisition and the advantages of the WiFi technology are analyzed.Comparing analysis of several popular wireless communication technology,the results show that the parameters of WiFi are outstanding,and the conclusion is that WiFi technology is mainly developing tendency.Then,the overall structure and operating principles of the system are introduced in detail.Secondly,on the basis of the practical wave-height data acquisition system operation requirements.We developed a Qt platform which used Windows application.After that,we designed data acuquistion software and signal analysis software.Communicated the application software and wave-height data acquisition with the help of TCP/IP communications protocol.Thirdly,the paper analyzes the characteristics of the system hardwarecircuit.According to the performance required index and actual application requirements.The hardware circuit is divided into five modules wireless WiFi communication module,wave height sensor,analog signal processing module,MCU control module and power management module.The important parts of the circuit schematics of every module are given.Next this paper,introduces the circuit board design of the PCB.Finally,we build a wave height data aquisition platform based on the system,test and analyze the various parameters of the system by capturing the height of wave in our lab.Through the collected wave data curve,we can see that the system achieves the original design goal.
