Among numerous media,TV media was once the most powerful media and played an important role in the development of China's economy,politics,culture,and society.Nowadays,with the continuous development of network technology and the influx of new media,the media ecology has changed along with it.Traditional media,including many television media,face enormous challenges.At present,many large-scale media have taken a big step toward the transition and have achieved some results.Local media,because of its constraints on concepts,systems,funds,and technologies,has a relatively weak competitiveness in the media market and is struggling in transition.In particular,local consumption of farm channels is large and returns are low.After a period of “loss of business”,many rural TV channels and columns have entered the “marginalized survival” state.How to solve this problem is related to whether the rural TV channel can continue to survive.Therefore,based on the local TV media,this article introduces the innovative exploration sample of Hubei Longshang Channel,and uses the related theory of industrial value chain to analyze what can be learned from its transformation practice,and finally proposes the transformation strategy of local media.
