As a national safe city construction needs,the field of video surveillance has received more and more attention from the society.It is gradually being applied to all aspects of urban construction.Previous video surveillance has complicated wiring,high costs,and cumbersome maintenance.With computer technology,embedded With the continuous development of technology and modern communication technologies,people hope that video surveillance can move toward the direction of intelligence,specialization,convenience,and digitization.Because of its low power consumption,small size,high integration,and strong applicability,embedded systems are becoming specialized systems in the field of video surveillance,and have gradually become a trend.This article adopts embedded system technology and wireless Wifi data transmission technology to design an embedded video real-time monitoring system based on Mini2440 development board.This system mainly adopts C/S architecture and is divided into two parts.Acquisition terminal and monitoring terminal.The acquisition end consists of a Mini2440 development board with a peripheral camera and a central router connected with a network cable.The center router functions as a gateway,connecting the Mini2440 development board device and the monitoring end device to the same LAN.After the compiled video acquisition program was run in the development board,the transmission of video data between the acquisition end development board and the monitoring end device was realized through the TCP/IP protocol.In the monitor PC of the system,the user only needs to open the collected program based on the GTK graphics player library and input the IP address and port number of the collector's development board so that the video can be received and played in real time.The video is composed of continuous frame image playback.The system's external camera continuously collects the original image information of each frame and performs JPEG algorithm image compression.The video data collected by the development board camera reaches the monitoring end of the system through the wireless Wifi transmission of the center router.The PC and the GTK graphics player library program running on the PC Linux system are displayed to achieve real-time monitoring.The main work is as follows:First,the overall C/S architecture of the video surveillance system was set up and the system workflow was designed.Secondly,the selection of the acquisition board and the camera model,the selection of the center router,and the setup of the hardware and software equipment environment for the monitoring PC are completed.Next,configure the relevant device driver for the acquisition side development board,the port of the acquisition side development board embedded Linux system(including Bootloader,embedded Linux system kernel,transplantation of the embedded Linux file system),and monitor the PC.The installation of Linux system,and studied the video acquisition interface based on V4L2 programming specification and the Socket network programming model based on TCP/IP protocol,realized the preparation of camera video acquisition program based on EPOLL architecture and video playback based on GTK graphics library on monitoring end.The program design,and finally tested the entire system to ensure the safety and reliability of the system,to prove that the entire system can provide video surveillance functions for supermarkets,shopping malls,communities,and families.
