With the continuous improvement of the performance of electronic products,the requirement for the performance of the storage capacity is also increasing,the SD card with low market prices,big storage capacity,high data transfer rate is widely used in various kinds of portable devices.At present,the SD card the deficiency in the main control module in terms of power consumption,no working mode,low power consumption module does not work when the unnecessary energy waste,it puts forward some requirements on low power consumption.In order to solve the above problems,it is necessary to design low power consumption of SD card control module.This paper designed and implemented the SD card control module,by analyzing the main factors affecting the power consumption of the main control module,on the basis of the normal mode put forward three kinds of low power consumption mode,to achieve low power design of main control module.The main work and results are as follows:1.Completed the architecture design of the chip according to the working process of the SD card main control module.Based on the ARM cortex-mO microprocessor,the AMBA2.0 bus is designed to integrate DMA controller,Nand Flash controller,interrupt controller and SD controller module as well as various peripheral modules.2.Based on the normal working mode,three low-power working modes of sleep,deep sleep and standby mode were proposed based on the normal working mode.By analyzing the main modules that influence the power consumption of the chip and the different scenarios of the chip work,three low-power working modes are proposed.Using multiple voltage power supply door control power supply technology,chip is divided into PD1 and PD2,PD3 three power domain,in different mode of the three domains with different power and voltage management to reduce power consumption;Using the door control clock technology,the clock of the chip system clock source and the normal and sleeping mode of the external module clock is controlled to reduce the power consumption caused by the clock;The memory block access technology is used to divide SRAM into 8 sub-modules,and the sub-modules in idle state can reduce the storage power consumption of the system by using only the leakage power consumption.3.Completed the integration of the SD card control module,and performed functional simulation verification and power consumption analysis.The authentication platform is built to complete the function verification of the main control module.Through the waveform and data transmission results,it can be seen that the main control module can work normally.According to the power consumption analysis of the four working modes through PTPX,The analysis results show that the frequency is 40 MHz,The total power consumption in sleep mode is 27.3%lower than that in normal mode,the total power consumption in deep sleep mode is 67.2%lower than that in normal mode,and the total power consumption in standby mode is 91.2%lower than that in normal mode.
