With the change of technology and the renewal of ideas,the media output information model and the audience receiving information model in the new media era have undergone a revolutionary change.The data-based visual news report is a typical example.In recent years,the application of data to the media has become more and more widespread,and a number of data news series have emerged,such as hotspot analysis,policy interpretation,life services,and interactive data.In this context,People's Daily also launched its own data news report.One of them is "graphic news",which was founded in 2013.It combs and analyzes voluminous data and numerous events,and presents the analysis results in the form of concise and easy-to-read pictures,fully satisfying the needs of readers in the era of reading pictures.Its main features include the following: Positioning accuracy,dedicated to news visualization;selected topics based on current government news,highlighting the People's Network advantages;multiple expression methods to enhance the appeal of the audience.These features have won a certain amount of market space for "graphic news."
