The proposal of "made in China" has further promoted the integration and development of the new generation of information technology and manufacturing technology.The aim of this paper is to optimize the nickel smelting control system of Jinchuan company,analysis of the main production process of nickel,research on the control process of rotary kiln production process,summarize the specific defects and control difficulties in the process of production and control of rotary kiln,combining the technology of Internet of things with the automation control technology,solving the problems such as poor stability of the system and the quality of product can not be guaranteed in the actual production of rotary kiln.The rotary kiln system has the characteristics of nonlinear,large lag and changeable production environment,it makes a lot of challenges to the control of rotary kiln,in actual production,it is still dominated by artificial fire,production capacity is uneven.Through the analysis and summary of the production process and the reaction principle of the rotary kiln,in this paper,three parameters of the temperature of kiln roasting slag,the temperature of the kiln tail and the oxygen content in the tail gas are selected as the main measurement,The main controlled quantity is the amount of fuel in the kiln,the amount of air entering the kiln,the rotating speed of the rotary kiln and the quantity of the material entering the kiln,design of rotary kiln controller with PID algorithm as the core,combined with the actual situation of rotary kiln production,the PID control algorithm is optimized and improved.The PID controller design of cascade control,the inner loop controller first carries out the "coarse tune",the outer loop controller further "fine adjustment",the anti-interference ability of the controller is greatly improved.Using Smith predictive control strategy to further solve the problem of large lag in rotary kiln,improve the control quality of the controller to the system,reduce the adjustment time.Analysis of the function and significance of PID control parameters,first of all,the manual tuning of PID parameters,then on line self tuning of PID parameters using fuzzy controlalgorithm,And realize the compensation correction for the sudden situation of production,making the controller adaptable to the complicated and changeable rotary kiln production process,improving the flexibility and accuracy of the controller.The effectiveness of the controller is verified by Matlab simulation and the expected effect is achieved.In the implementation phase of the controller,the production process control system of rotary kiln includes: main program,sampling timer interrupt program,software filter program,control program and serial communication program,using DHT22,BMP180,MQ-2 sensor to collect data of temperature,pressure and combustible gas,using Arduino as the main control chip,processing the data collected by the sensor,three phase reactive step motors 45BF003 is driven by constant current chopping mode,design of RS485 bus communication protocol,realizing data communication between various devices.Finally,the monitoring system for the production process of the nickel rotary kiln is completed by the software of Kingview,it mainly includes process flow picture,trend curve picture,report record picture,alarm and event recording picture,database query picture,etc,realizing remote monitoring and control of production workshop.The rotary kiln controller in this paper reached the expected goal.There is an obvious improvement on the problems of strong interference and large lag in the production control of rotary kiln.The controller can make the corresponding adjustment in real time when the smelting condition or the environment changes in the kiln.Under the condition of long time smelting operation,the control state can reach the requirement of stability.
