Research On Emoji Function Of Social Media From The Perspective Of Postmodernism

As a cultural upsurge,postmodernism has had a tremendous impact on people's lives under the rapid development of the Internet.Emoji is now the most popular Internet discourse tool,and is also inseparable with postmodernism.As a symbolic discourse Emoji is essentially a kind of culture with its inherent cultural connotation,as well as specific audience groups and unique discourse systems.The carnivalism,flatness,resistance,heterogeneity,and metaphoricity that emoticons present are also the most typical features of postmodernism.The use of emoticons in social media not only affects the communication between people,but also has a positive or negative impact on the composition of the entire society for the metaphor behind the symbols.In this paper,after the modernism research perspective,from the most representative characteristics of postmodernism: deconstruction and constructivism,the thesis is to analyze the social networking media emoticons in various aspects of interpersonal communication,social value,social and cultural Digestion and construction.On the basis of clarifying the theory of postmodernism and network emoticons,the thesis first elaborates the features of emoticons possessed by postmodernism,and then elaborates the functions of emoticons from four aspects.First,emoticons are used in social media interpersonal communication.The basic function of the second is the constructive function of the emoticons,mainly starting from the three perspectives of constructing the self,constructing the relationship,and constructing the society.Third,the function of the elimination of the emoticons,mainly from the perspectives of dispelling the subject,dispelling traditions and classics,and dispelling authority.The fourth is to analyze in detail the function of reconstruction after emoticon resolution,mainly to analyze social culture,discourse power,and values.Finally,the multi-dimensional analysis of the reasons for the realization of the emoticons is hoped that the functional analysis of the emoticons with significant influence on social media can cause the academic community to pay attention to the hot phenomenon of the Internet.
