The Research Of The Social Media Self-expression

The birth of social media comes from people `interaction and the need of information acquisition. At present it’s time of development is short. Early social media exist mainly online chat rooms and the form of blog. In 1999, Chinese earliest China Ren—social media establish by Chen Yizhou et al. when social media just was imported from abroad and for its location, we were not too clear as the function is not perfect. In recent years, the domestic social networking sites has been booming development, such as: Sina micro-blog, Renren and We Chat.They make social media show a prosperity.With a prosperity of social media, artistic expression has reflected its importance. Therefore, we study the emphasis of this paper about the following several points: the artistic characteristics and problems of the self expression in social media with today’s audience, specification of self artistic expression in the future.In this paper, according to the following aspects: the first part is introduction and presents the origin of the problem, combing the academic circles at home and abroad for social media and research of self expression in recent years. It indicates the research significance, research contents, the innovations and shortcomings of research methods. The second part is a summary of the whole thesis for the self expression of social media as a auxiliary role. Background and premise of the core problem and the basic concepts was involved as the research object. The third part analyze the artistic features of social media based on the semiotic theory, the spiral of silence theory and Maslow’s hierarchy of needs theory.The samples are selected from sina bolg. In the process, them are used as examples and analyzed, such as : the people’s daily, ping an bejing, Chen He Sina Weibo blog and user comments and so on. Meanwhile, the breakthrough point of analysis is developed from the aspect of Art symbol, the subject of art, artistic language. The fourth part deeply analyze the present self expression of social media from the language, group, process and cultural. The last part based on the three part of the analysis above and some suggestions are put forward to future development from three aspects: social education, individual expression and platform construction.
