Design And Development Of Meta-model Based On XPDL Workflow

With the progress of society and the development of human beings,in the social production activities of modern industrialization and information,the division of labor has become more and more meticulous,and the completion of a job is no longer a matter of one person.It usually requires cooperation between many people and reasonable arrangements for the work process.By using the computer to construct a business process model,workflow technology organizes different people and different tasks,and controls the execution sequence of the business process and the assignment of tasks between different people.It is the core technology to realize business process modeling,simulation analysis,optimization,management and integration of business process.It enables the automation of business process to be realized.The research and implementation of workflow technology has important practical significance and social value for the development of informatization and modernization of our country's enterprises.In view of the variable situation of the current business process,this article uses the XPDL specification that can be used as a general framework to describe the process definition.It not only supports the special purpose of the developer,but also can analyze it as a template for the process execution in the workflow engine andmaintain the same or similar expression to a large extent.This paper first introduces the concept of workflow and the status and development of workflow technology both at home and abroad.Then it introduces the theory and technology of workflow management system(WfMS)and XPDL based workflow meta-model.Secondly,in order to adapt to the change of the changing business process,the grammatical format of XPDL and the meta-model which is extended according to the specification are briefly introduced according to the actual application requirements.Finally,workflow definition is designed through workflow middleware system.After verification and XML parsing,it is deployed to database.Through the implementation of this process management that changes with the changes in the business logic,it also improves the efficiency and foresight of the current business process.
