Study On The Haze Report Of The People's Daily In The Context Of The Agenda Setting

From 2011,haze appeared in our vision.Until 2013,haze pollution continued to happen in China,which became a hot topic of public opinion at a time.For a while,people have heated discussions on this and get caught in panic.Media,as a bridge to spread information and communicate with the masses,is a propagandist of haze reports,and is also taking an important role in supervising haze governance.The theory of agenda setting refers to the fact that mass communication can not change the truth of the news,but by reporting the types and times of the issue,the attention and order of people to the dynamic changes of a thing can be left and right.The people's daily,as the authoritative newspaper to report the most recent major events in China,has carried out a continuous report on the haze weather in recent years.Through the construction of a green agenda,it plays a leading role in the publicity of haze reports and the public access to fog and haze information.Through a review of the theory of agenda setting,this paper combs 608 haze reports in the people's daily for 2011-2017 years,and uses content analysis and text analysis methods to analyze the haze from the aspects of the number,the page layout,the coverage,the coverage,the content,the reporting tendency,the news sources,the subject and so on.Reports on how to reflect the agenda,found that the number of haze reports in the people's daily had a fluctuating trend,and it remained stable in 2013.The fog and haze issues occupied many pages and the first edition of the 2013 fog haze reported the most.The area spread to the surrounding area.The coverage was based on the government's anti haze measures and results,knowledge and Reflection on haze;neutral reports based on the writing of the media reflected the anti haze measures and results of the government departments,as well as the media people's reflection on the haze.Through the above analysis,it is concluded that the functions of the agenda setting of the people's daily haze report are more and more obvious,which embodies the more and more powerful public opinion guidance function of the people's daily,this and the diversification of the media ecology.The people's daily pays attention to the guidance of the positive public opinion,and the people's key point is from the haze itself to the haze management.It can't be separated.
