Marine motion target detection technology is the basis for maritime target recognition and tracking,and it is widely used in areas such as sea area monitoring,marine environmental protection,and accidental vessel rescue and alerting.It has important practical significance and application background.However,in the process of maritime target detection,camera installation carrier movement,environmental scene changes,weather changes,and changes in the target scale will cause a lot of interference to the detection results.Researchers have introduced visual attention mechanisms to segment motion targets as significant regions in the scene.This paper focuses on the detection of marine moving objects in visible light image sequences.It uses a detection method based on saliency features and is divided into three parts: preprocessing,significant image calculation and post-processing.The specific work is as follows:(1)Analyze the histogram features of the sea surface image,and use the improved image enhancement processing method to suppress the influence of the sea surface highlight region;obtain the DC component in the image block through two-dimensional discrete cosine transform,and segment the Haitian junction area as a follow-up image processing.Potential areas of interest are validated by experiments.(2)Analyze three kinds of common significant characteristic calculation methods,and get the advantages and disadvantages of each method through the comparison of experiments.An improved saliency feature calculation method is proposed.The local directional features and color feature saliency maps are merged to form the final gray-scale saliency map,and the improved method is analyzed experimentally.(3)Analyze the advantages and disadvantages of common image segmentation methods,select threshold segmentation and region growth as post-processing methods for gray salient maps.Segment the gray salient map into a binary map and extract the circumscribed rectangle of the foreground region as the location of the moving target.The experiment was verified and analyzed.The experimental results show that the detection method proposed in this paper can accurately detect the moving target of the sea-sky contact area and has good real-time performance.
