Media Framework Analysis Of Controversial Events

With the transformation of our country's society and the development of new media,the frequent occurrence of controversial events has become a normal state in the real world.Due to the controversy,sensitivity,and conflict of conflicts,the controversial events have often become an important area for the public and the media to focus on.To a certain extent,controversial events are like an open discussion topic.Various debates about a certain topic will also be presented through various media to form a “dispute field” and expand the social impact of the incident.The media's reporting and dissemination of controversial events is gradually promoting the process of consensus and value negotiation for most people.As an important communication platform in the mobile Internet era,the news client has become an important channel for the media and the public to participate in the discussion of controversial events.In the face of controversial incidents,how the news client will reproduce the incident and construct a framework for the issue will influence the public's cognition and judgment and attitude towards the incident.It will play an important role in the direction of the entire public opinion.Therefore,reporting on controversial events is also an important field for examining media journalism professionalism and credibility.Based on the framework theory and the relevant research theories,this paper uses a combination of quantitative and qualitative analysis to select three media represented by People's Daily App,Today's Headline App,and Lightning News App for the period from March 23,2017 to June 26,2017.the report text on the "Killing People Who insulted Mother" was analyzed and studied.The study found that: In this incident,media reports focused on the fact disclosure framework and the diversification framework coexisted.In the course of the development of the incident,the media reporting framework had obvious migration and changes: Over time,various types of frameworks accounted for Corresponding changes have taken place,but the factual disclosure framework is consistently in a dominant position.The legal analysis framework has always been in place;media attributes have an impact on the construction and transition of the media framework: People's Daily App,Today's Headline App,and Lightning News App are all disclosed as facts.The framework is the first framework,but the second important framework of the People's Daily App is the proposed framework.The second framework of the Headline App today is the event impact framework,and the Lightning News App focuses on the event qualitative framework.In addition,the overall framework of the official media represented by the People's Daily App and the commercial media represented by Today's Headline App is much larger than that of the local media Lightning News App.Among them,the changes in the fact disclosure framework,legal framework,and impact framework of the People's Daily App are relatively large.However,the incident's qualitative framework and influence framework have changed the most in the Headlines App.The incident's qualitative framework has changed significantly in the Lightning News App.
