Looking at the reversal of journalism research,it can be seen that reversing the news object and its attributes that have been repeatedly emphasized by the news text and public opinion in the news is the main reason for the news to be heated and reversed. The public's understanding and judgment of the news object and its attributes is based on news, public opinions, and stereotypes in people's minds. This study selects three inversion news stories involving identity, gender, identity, and gender stereotypes, and analyzes the contents of public comments before and after reversal to measure changes in public attitudes and the presentation of stereotypes in reversal news. The study found that the object attributes that were repeatedly emphasized and disseminated in the reversal news influenced the audience's understanding of news and brought relatively negative influence. In order to detect the specific impact of reversal news on audience perceptions, the study set up a survey with three additional inversion news cases involving identity and gender stereotypes, and compared the changes in attitudes of the audience before and after reversal, and their subsequent relevance to the audience. The impact of cognitive issues on attitudes. The study found that inverting the negative object attributes in the news may be understood and summarized by the audience as a group feature and form a new stereotype or disappear after a short-term effect. That is,significant object attributes in reversal news are infinitely amplified and valued. At the same time,it also affects public understanding of news and cognition of news objects. This study aims to expose the concrete influence and mechanism of stereotype in reversal news,in order to guide the public to look at things in a more rational way,so as to get rid of the dual interference of “media reality” and “subjective reality”.
