No matter whether it is daily life or academic research,it is self-evident to know and judge the value of people accurately."Personality" is the most important characteristic of a person who become to be himself and be distinguished from others. Each person has his or her own unique performance of behaviors that personality affects.Personality is not only related to people's offline behavior in real life, but also closely related to online behavior in social networks. With the profound impact of social network technologies on people's lives, social media represented by Micro-Blogging/Weibo has greatly facilitated people to obtain information and engage in social interaction, meanwhile it has stored a large number of digital footprints about human beings. It is a significant topic for researchers who have tried to explore in multiple research orientations in recent years, that how to conduct multi-dimensional personality analysis and interpretation through these vast and complex behavior information, and how to establish a personality prediction model that has broad application prospects.Based on the summary of the domestic and foreign research on social media user personality, this paper draws on the research paradigm of natural observation of human behavior in Ecological Psychology.Through the Chinese simplified version of Big Five Personality NEO-FFI.we investigated The self-reported personality of the the active users of micro-blogging(microblog ? 1024,usage time ? 17 months)among 106 college students.and encoded the electronic public file, behavioral clues.and the first 1000 blog posts of each participant.Every user's behavior data is divided into three subsets:X1-5 static properties,Y1-23 behavior characteristics,V1-8 Blog Behavior data.In the end,40 pairs of statistically significant correlations between personality and behavior were discovered, and the psychological mechanisms behind the behavioral data were explained in conjunction with Psychology and Communication related theories. The results of this study provide evidence for more empirical research for the research fields of social media user personality. For example, neuroticism is related to the user's " the number of Head portrait" and "delete microblog".There is a significant positive and negative correlation between neuroticism, extraversion, and "the number of Giving the thumbs-up(Weibo,pictures)",reflecting that individuals who lack interpersonal interactions are more dependent on the pseudo-environment,which coincides with the personality characteristics of "container man"(lack of interaction, loneliness, and introversion)in communications theory. Those with high scores in the extraversion and conscientiousness dimensions will frequently use the"@" function and interact socially with more users, while they will receive more "commentary"feedback from other users, and so on.Finally, several explanations are given to the limitations of this study, and the direction of development of this research field is anticipated.
