The Collection And Arrangement Of Paper Numbers In Ancient Books

Seal as a kind of graphic material commonly used in ancient books is an important basis for us to judge the value of an ancient book.The seals commonly found in ancient books include the famous chapters(collection of chapters),appreciation chapters,instruction chapters,and leisure chapters.In addition,we often see in the ancient books a type of seal used to describe paper for books,namely the"paper number" seal.Throughout the ages,many craftsmen and scholars have devoted themselves to the improvement and research of papermaking technology.However,there have been very few studies on the paper's development process from the "paper"seal.he article uses the "paper number" seal in the ancient book as an entry point and object of study.It is based on the Taiwan Sinology Research Center and the ancient books of the Tianjin Library.Through searching through the collection of the original ancient books and bibliographic descriptions,they searched for the "paper number"seal and extracted,collated,and studied them.Thus formed a comprehensive and profound understanding of "paper number".The full text is divided into four major parts.The first part is a detailed introduction to the concept of "paper number".The second part is related excerpts,tabulations,and in-depth studies of ancient book information with the "paper number"imprint.The third part is based on the second part of the information listed on the basis of the "paper number" spread time,production of raw materials and production processes.The last part is an in-depth exploration of the significance and value of the paper number study.This will provide important data basis for the protection of the originality and regeneration of ancient books.
