Every cost generated during the process of company operation will affect product cost.The after-sales service cost is an important part of operation cost.The after-sales service has various business processes.The imperfection of process will lead to transaction barriers and generate additional costs.At present,most of domestic and foreign companies generally try to establish and improve their project management modes based on their own operation characteristics.They are also using various methods to reduce transaction costs arising from imperfect business processes to improve product competitivity.This study is based on the background of project management system of L mobile phone company.It is aimed to enhance the efficiency of after-sales service and reduce the service cost.It uses transaction costs,cost management and other relative theories to seek for the suitable mode of cost management of L company.It also analyzes the major problems of L company and discusses how to improve it.The competition of current mobile market is very fierce.The traditional brands such as iPhone,Samsung remain quite strong in the market.Additionally,HUAWEI,OPPO,VTVO,Xiaomi and other domestic brands also begin to emerge and occupy a large market share.As an early entry into the mobile phone industry,L mobile phone company has allready gained a certain reputation in the market.But as a long-established company,its internal operation becomes more and more redundant and some unnecessary transaction costs are generated.Hence,compared with other domestic brands,the products of L company do not have the price advantage,among which the cost of online after-sales service projects is the most typical.Based on this,the study uses earned value method to analyze the cost management of L mobile phone online after-sales service project.It analyzes the transaction barriers generated in the processes and its root causes.By controlling the activity of invalid and inefficient projects in the processes,the extra transaction cost is reduced.Thus,the effective control of transaction cost of online after-sales service project is realized.Finally,this study proposes the optimization of online after-sales service system and the optimization of related after-sales service process to reduce the transaction costs involved in after-sales service process.And the proposals are verified by practice.They can effectively improve project cost management.In a word,this study is the application and improvement of L mobile phone company's online after-sales service project cost management.Hope it can provide some experience for other cost management projects in L company and provide some reference for after-sales service research in other similar companies.
