In the era of knowledge economy,knowledge organization has become the focus of attention in various fields.The data itself cannot create too much value.The analysis and utilization of data,the extraction of knowledge from it,and the final organization of knowledge networks can create great value for individuals and groups.Modern medicine has developed rapidly,and knowledge in the medical field has been updated at a faster pace.In the biomedical field,drug research has always been the focus of attention.Drugs are closely related to the research of diseases,symptoms,and biological engineering.Research on drug knowledge organizations can effectively integrate existing drug knowledge,explore potential links between drugs and other knowledge,and assist pharmaceutical research and development to provide more useful knowledge.UMLS is an integrated knowledge organization system in the field of biomedicine.The system includes a superheuristics table,an expert dictionary,and a semantic network.These three modules can describe the knowledge and professionalization of knowledge in the medical field,and the specification of knowledge units extracted from UMLS.Logic is correct,and the semantic organization of the semantic network is more able to adapt to the information environment in which the World Wide Web is developed.After the linked data was first proposed in 2006,it has received extensive attention as a best practice for the Semantic Web.After decades of research and development,its theoretical research has developed more maturely,and the field of applied practice has become wider and wider.Medical data is large and complex,with rich data types,various structures,and diverse forms.In order to have a better management of the resources in the medical field and effectively complete the task of knowledge organization,it is of great advantage to use UMLS and associated data technologies to organize medical knowledge.This method can not only improve the efficiency of medical data management,improve the quality of knowledge organization,but also promote the development of medical research and development and medical advancement,and improve the level of service in the medical field.In this paper,UMLS and linked data technology are introduced to deeply study the drug knowledge organization method and the construction of drug knowledge organization model.Firstly,it studies the application of knowledge organization in the field of medicine and research status of drug knowledge organization,grasps the latest research trends,and proposes a research method of drug knowledge organization based on UMLS.Secondly,this article discusses the connotation of drug knowledge,the related technical methods of knowledge organization and the basic concepts of UMLS,analyzes the knowledge organization model in the context of the semantic network.This is an important theoretical basis for the construction of a drug knowledge organization model based on UMLS.Then the UMLS-based drug knowledge organization architecture is designed,and the UMLS-based drug knowledge organization method is proposed.The UMLS lexical tools,knowledge element acquisition methods,and semantic reasoning are deeply discussed.Then the existing mature drug ontology is reused.Metadata technology is used to semantically describe drug knowledge,and the ontology is constructed based on a seven-step method for constructing drug ontology;and a process for publishing drug knowledge set based on associated data is designed to achieve dynamic maintenance of drug knowledge set internal link and drug knowledge sets and external knowledge sets.Finally,a UMLS-based drug knowledge organization model is constructed,the idea and goal of the model design are elaborated,the functions of the modules in the model are analyzed,and the advantages of the UMLS-based drug knowledge organization are analyzed.At the same time,the LODD project was used as a case to verify the feasibility and practicality of the model.The results show that the application of UMLS and associated data technology in drug knowledge organization is an effective way to integrate drug knowledge,in-depth drug knowledge and drug knowledge sharing.
