With the rapid development of our country's economy and the acceleration of urbanization,the rural population is gradually moving between rural and urban areas.More and more rural people are entering the city in search of opportunities for survival.As a result,China's urban population and rural population have gradually become two Large groups.Due to the existence of the dual pattern of urban and rural areas,the gap between farmers and urban residents is increasing.With the construction of a harmonious socialist society,issues concerning the vital interests of farmers and agricultural production need to be resolved.The party and the government urgently need to pass relevant policies to the rural areas and benefit the majority of farmers in our country.Therefore,the role of media,especially new media,in rural areas has been highlighted.This article revolves around the theme of rural communication,taking the People's Network as an example,to conduct a systematic and comprehensive analysis of the problems existing in the People's Network in rural information dissemination,and on this basis,put forward targeted measures and recommendations.This is of great significance to accelerating the informatization construction in rural areas and implementing the national guidelines and policies.At the same time,it has implications for other media in rural areas.The main contents of this paper include:The first part introduces the research background,research significance,literature review and research methods.The second part elaborates the history of the development of the People's Network,and focuses on analyzing the current status of the People's Network in the rural information dissemination.On the one hand,the People's Network relies on the government for dissemination;on the other,the People's Network conducts independent propaganda through reporters' interviews with the countryside.The third part and the fourth part focus on analyzing the positive influence and problems existing in the rural communication work of the People's Network.In the fifth part,in response to the problems that have arisen,corresponding countermeasures and suggestions are proposed:to increase investment in rural communication,to change the content of reportsconcerning agriculture,to increase the voice of farmers,to improve the quality of rural journalists,and to develop university student village officials as correspondents.Go deep into the grassroots and strengthen contact with farmers.
