Research On The Problems Of The Development Of Live Internet Radio

Live Internet radio bears the characteristics of both Internet radio and live video,effectively improving audiences' interactivity and participation and farther bettering their listening experience.This new form of Internet radio thus appeals to more audiences and opens a brand new market as compensation for the fact that former Internet radio only provides recorded service.Since 2012,the very first live webcast by traditional broadcast media has been greatly improved and transformed into two forms,the simulcast of the audio output for the large-scale activities,and the personal live webcast which is similar to live video.Along with the further development of Internet radio,the definition of broadcast is also undergoing tremendous changes.Live Internet radio enjoys a completely different set of thinking and operation mode from traditional broadcast media.It overcomes the systemic limitations of traditional broadcast media and achieves free and flexible individualized program customization.With a real advantage over Internet radio's recorded programs,this shows high interactivity,which is of great help to win in the current intense competition.Take LizhiFM as an example.This thesis collects and analyzes a certain period of the recommended programs and formats on LizhiFM from the perspective of contents,themes,types,and communication effects.The results turns out that live Internet radio obtains the advantages of high user participation,strong social attributes,great popularity and substantial profits.Problems arise,however,for live Internet radio in terms of its content and regulation.First,the quality of hosts varies due to the low requirements for webcast access.Second,the lack of program criteria impedes the guarantee of a high quality program,leading to homogeneity,over-entertainment,and so on.Third,The fleeting nature of sound increases the difficulty in the regulation of live Internet radio.Therefore,live Internet radio should take effective measures in various aspects in the future to solve the existing problems.For example,user's listening experience should be optimized,program criteria improved and high quality live host trained.Live Intermet radio stations should.adhere to the "content first" strategy and produce a positive,healthy and featured live Internet radio platform,thus enjoying a substantial development.
