Study On The Influencing Factors Of Continue Use Of Baidu Scholar

Due to the enthusiasm of open access,the emphasis on academic development and the advancement of Internet technology,academic search engines have developed rapidly.Domestically,it is represented by Baidu Academic,360 Academic,Sogou Academic.Foreign countries have a powerful academic search engines called Google Scholar.The academic search engine has a direct,simple,one-stop access feature that brings convenience to researchers and enables the rapid emergence of academic search engines.However,academic search engines represented by Baidu Academic have risen for a short period of time,and users are less dependent on the platform and users are more likely to move.As a new academic research platform,academic search engine occupies an important position in the academic field.If an evaluation system for academic search engines can be established as a basis for judging the continued use of academic search engine users,academic platform will be further promoted.Through studying domestic and foreign documents,the author finds that the current research topics include academic search engine open access research,comparative research of different academic search engines,etc.,and there is not much research on its own design,and there is a lack of discussion on the continuous use of users.Therefore,it makes up for the gaps in this area.First of all,it is necessary to figure out what factors will affect the continued use of academic search engines,so as to establish an evaluation system for continuous use of academic search engines.There are many factors that will affect the continued use of academic search engines.Only by finding out the main influencing factors can an objective evaluation criteria be established to further enhance the user's time of use and allow users to continue to use the academic search engine platform for a long period of time.This study selected Baidu Scholar as the research object.After summarizing the previous research results,it put forward the influencing factors of the continued use of academic search engines.It mainly includes two major aspects:user factors and platform factors.User factors include:social factors and use experience;platform factors include:information content,website design,website features,site usability,website services,website power,and network security.On this basis,a model based on Baidu's academic users' continuous use of academic search engines was constructed.Then based on previous theories related to continuous use,we put forward nine hypotheses,and carried out reliability and validity analysis of the questionnaire information data by SPSS,and then used the method of constructing structural equations by AMOS.The results show that the model is effective and there are seven hypotheses that are valid.They are social factors,information content,website design,website features,site usability,website services,and network security.Finally,the influencing factors of the research results are discussed in depth.Non-influenced factors use the interview method to understand the true idea of the questionnaire and find out reasons.The suggestions and inspirations of individuals for the continuous use of Baidu's academics are proposed,and I hope the paper can contribute to the further development of academic search engines.
