After 16 years of development,"economic observer" has formed a distinctive feature in the media market,its success depends on accurate audience positioning.However,the development of digital technology and the change of communication paradigm make the traditional financial media,represented by economic observer,lag behind social media and financial media in terms of market share and number of users.Under this background,the effective transformation becomes the strategic of its future development,the competition of the attention resources of the audience and the precision aggregation of the audiences are more and more important.The article uses the literature research method,the text research method as well as the content research method and so on,takes "the Economic observation newspaper" the audience localization present situation as the research object,aims at explores this media in the new competition pattern faces various challenges as well as the audience resources expansion realistic path.The "economic observer" of the audience group for "have wealth,have rights,have ideas,there is a future" of "four young entrepreneurs",they represent China's most advanced concept of action.However,we need to see that audience positioning is a dynamic development process,must be viewed with the development of the contact,so accurate and time-sensitive audience portrait is the basis of all media work.In recognition of the characteristics of the group,the economic observer in the actual news operation also focus on matching the user's best demand point,such as the internationalization of financial events,the publication of high-end business wide and the hiring of celebrity scholars for professional content production and so on.Traditional positioning concept like "economic observer" as "Spire",its competitors "21st Century Economic Report" and "China Business newspaper" respectively,"tower waist" and "tower base",as people's media contact habits and use of the way quietly changed,this argument is no longer applicable,Audiences are more distracted and all three are moving toward high-end positioning.The economic observer is facing the danger of homogeneity competition,the substitution of its media products has become higher,in the performance of mobile end,the plight of downloading has highlighted the audience scale is simply a transition,and the elite of the news source is easy to weaken the common people's demands,there is a certain transmission by the risk of blindness and so on.These are some of the challenges facing the economic observer during the transition period.How to fight this battle to achieve the accurate aggregation of the audience resources,the economic observer can be from three aspects to work:first of all,the media attribute to the service attribute of excessive,knowledge pay still have a lot of growth space,the media holding a large number of high-quality audience resources,so the realization of customized pay service "community aggregation" is not difficult,intelligent investment,the economic observer has great imagination in this area.Second,the transformation of content production,the development of large data to enhance the importance of visual expression,the rise of the aggregation of information to make the"headline" to create a new flow entrance.The last is the innovation of the user's Catalyst mode,all things interconnected,VR and live broadcast technology to make people out of space constraints,the news experience towards the "on-the-spot" direction,in addition to the media's IP operation,personification characterization,financial media such as the economic observer is making more meaningful attempts.
