Warehouse management not only affects the capital turnover of the company,but also affects the work efficiency of the company,so warehouse management information system is an important tool for warehouse management.The system can realize the systematization,standardization and automation of the enterprise warehouse management,and improve the work efficiency.The Internet of Things technology can be introduced into the warehouse management information system to simplify business processes and improve work efficiency.With the rapid development of the Internet of Things technology and the increasingly fierce market competition,it is extremely urgent for the companies to introduce Internet of Things technology.XWE Corporation is an electronic component manufacturer.The warehouse management is involved in the manual operation process and management.The current level of warehouse informationization cannot meet the growing demand for order and production.To solve this problem,XWE warehouse is taken as the research object in this paper to introduce the Internet of Things technology,develop the warehouse management information system,and apply the system to traditional warehouses to improve the warehouse management capability.Firstly,analyze the problems of XWE warehouse management,such as backward information collection method and high information error rate caused by manual accounting,and determine the process optimization content by decomposing the process and analyzing the process value.Then,propose two solution for bar code information collection and RFID information collection,compare and analyze the advantages and disadvantages of the two collection methods in combination with the actual conditions and existing equipment of the company,determine the application solution based on the two information collection technologies,in other word,the warehouse management information system based on RFID and bar code,and select all the hardware used in the solution.Secondly,describe the process of optimizing warehouse work flow,and evaluates the optimized work flow.After the optimization,the warehousing time is reduced by 50%,greatly improving the work efficiency.Finally,analyze the actual demand and work out the system structure for the warehouse management information system on the basis of the optimization of warehouse,and design the warehouse management information system based on the Internet of Things technology.The system can transmit the data sensed at the terminal to the warehouse management system to realize the entire process management of the warehouse operations.With the application of the warehouse management information system in XWE,solve the shortcomings of traditional manual operations in warehouse,realize the automated management of warehousing,ex-warehouse and inventorying operations,reduce the error rate of operations,accelerate the warehousing and ex-warehouse of the goods,and fully improve the work efficiency of the warehouse.
