Today,with the rapid development of geographic information systems,people have been looking for a simpler,more intuitive,and more realistic means of presenting rich and varied geospatial information.Virtual Reality,as a new kind of virtual interactive media,has attracted many fields because of its multi-perception,interactivity,and the powerful features of building a virtual environment.The combination of virtual reality technology and traditional Geographic Information Systems has always been a hot and difficult issue for people to study.This article is based on a large amount of analysis and research,based on powerful interactive experience and visual experience in Virtual Reality.The main research contents and related results are as follows:(1)Comprehensively analyzes the current development status of Virtual Reality technology in Geographic Information Systems,compares domestic and international mainstream panoramic maps,summarizes their lack of user experience,and users can only browse in a specific single scene.The lack of depth interaction with the virtual model in the three-dimensional scene cannot be achieved.By summarizing the entry points of the virtual reality technology and the Geographic Information System,a virtual map design that satisfies the user's deep interactive experience is proposed.(2)In-depth study of the implementation of the method of roaming in the virtual map,from the aspect of the drawing of the scene,the control of the walking,the perspective of the adjustment and other aspects of the exploration,combined with the ArcGIS platform for integrated simulation roaming process.(3)When constructing a virtual map scene,the intelligent scene design idea is applied,that is,the model and its attributes in the three-dimensional scene can be dynamically changed and is no longer solidified.In this paper,the crossroads traffic case is used to elaborate the necessity of intelligent scene roaming in GIS and its broad application prospects.In this paper,the virtual map navigation system is studied and simulated.It can realize the depth interaction between the user and the virtual scene,and make up for the insufficiency of the immersive effect when the panoramic map is roaming.At the same time,from the collection and processing of geographic data to the roaming of virtual maps,this paper forms a complete set of ways and means for geographic data research,which is of great significance for practical production.
