The study of Sino-U.S.media relations focuses on the empirical research of historical materials and the study of other people's images. This study attempts to introduce the accepted research perspectives of Chinese and foreign media relations influence research, and examines the Chinese and American media's acceptance dimensions of American news values and professionalism concepts and the interaction between the news media of the two countries. This study selected the Chinese media's report on the Pulitzer Prize for Journalism from 2005 to 2016 as an analysis sample.Through text analysis and discourse analysis,we observed how Chinese media constructed the issue of the Pulitzer Prize. It was found that the Chinese media's coverage of the Pulitzer Prize for Press was generally divided into a factual issue frame,an evaluative issue frame, and a derivative issue frame;more than half of the sample's total number of factual issues were presented with the Pulitzer Prize. The agenda of the speeches has also followed a trend. In the framework of the evaluation issue, the Chinese media constructed the operational model of the news service, the value orientation of the public interest, the clash of old and new media, and the industry the weather vane in the context of new media through metaphors, examples, short sentences, descriptions, and other methods.;Among the derivative issues with a small sample size, there have been doubts about the Pulitzer Prize and ideological discourse.Through discourse analysis, this paper observes that Chinese media has established a negotiated relationship with the US media in journalistic business and professional ethics, journalistic concept and news development, and presented a strong consensus and weak negotiation between Chinese and American media relationship. This study also puts the Pulitzer news award report of Chinese media into the context of media ecology. It finds that western news professionalism is not entirely accepted by Chinese news media, but based on a selective cultural autonomy position. The recognition of journalism and professional ethics is also reflective, and the process of negotiating journalistic ideas and news development is characterized by recontextualization and ignorance. The transition from the absence of subjectivity to autonomy, and then to inter subjectivity in the context of new media has been achieved. Therefore, this paper believes that the academic community's anxiety about the one-way influence of the Western journalism theoretical paradigm on China's journalism is superfluous. The Chinese media's selective acceptance of the Pulitzer Prize for journalism is the result of historical and comprehensive social media ecology force. Finally, this paper believes that a truly rational and healthy Sino-U.S.media relationship between China and the United States media is conducive to the realization of mutual cooperation and development between self and others. This requires the Sino-U.S.media to avoid both the " liberty theory " and the " others are self hell theory ",and to ethical dialogue and reciprocal understanding.
