Museums,the social institutions that prove the off-campus education and non-mandatory learning are gradually developing into important part of national education.However,there are still many problems in museums: unevenly distributed resources,limited load capacity,mismatched exhibition forms and content.These problems have a serious impact on the efficiency of museum education,making it impossible for them to fully play their roles in the educational ecology.Recently,some museums use the mobile App,WeChat public platform and web client to strengthen the interaction between museum and society.They also apply the modern education technologies and forms,just like the online education and social sharing.For example,the development of VR technology and the Web broadcast platform provide a new,real-time and 360-degree immersive interactive experience for people.The widespread use of VR live in the social,e-commerce,medical,education and other fields also provides a new approach for the application of VR live in museum education.Under the above background,according to the technical principles,development status and application characteristics of VR live technology,the author explores the impact of VR live on modern museum education,proposes the new shape and social value of VR live for the museum development,analysis the application principles and realization methods,then establish user model and application scenario through investigation and questionnaire,in order to demonstrate the feasibility of using VR live in museum education.
