Energy is the lifeblood of global development. If a country has a lot of energy,it will represent the voice of the world.Because of fossil energy exhaustion and facing difficulty in the process of exploiting new energy, the sustainable development of human society has encountered bottlenecks in the 21st century. Therefore, the urgent task is to seek for energy which is safe, green, efficient and sustainable. It studies that nuclear fusion as a new energy which is safe, efficient, clean and large-storage is considered as the only solution to the future energy crisis and one of the hopes for the continuation of human civilization.Because of the implementation of international scientific research cooperation project, the International Thermonuclear Experimental Reactor(ITER),cooperation and exchanges in multi-channel and wide areas have been carried out in the field of nuclear fusion. There are many problems the internal operation and maintenance technology of the reactor, the narrow internal space of the reactor and the hash conditions, the observation, maintenance and replacement of the reactor, which are bothering national scientists. Therefore,China,France, the United Kingdom and Finland have had cooperation that a research on robotics in the nuclear environment. The overall integration and engineering design of China Fusion Engineering Testing Reactor CFETR equipment undertaken by the Institute of Plasma Physics,Chinese Academy of Sciences, takes the Multi-Purpose Deployer in nuclear fusion reactors as the research object. The MPD should have features such as strong overload capacity, flexible movement and remote operation control, and as an opportunity to develop the MPD structural design for the Multi-Purpose Deployer arm in the fusion reactor of the China Fusion Engineering Testing Reactor CFETR.Multi-Purpose Deployer,a all-purpose remote processing(RH)system in the ITER RH system, provides means for dust and helium inventory control, service inspection, location leaking, and cabin diagnostics in the vacuum vessel(VV).It also supports operations such as maintenance of the cladding, observation of the first wall, and cutting and maintenance of the diverter pipe.In order to facilitate the high speed replacement of multifunctional maintenance instrument, the MPD terminal adopts a modular interface design. The remote operation test area of the divertor maintenance has a front-end actuator placement rack to facilitate the access of front-end actuators with different functions.Reviewing the document enables the structural design of the Multi-Purpose Deployer, the calculation and verification of all joints, the overall manipulator MPD,the joint static analysis and modal analysis, and the solving of accelerometer in all directions in the case of simulated earthquake maneuvers. In addition, the quality of the grid was assessed to verify the feasibility and accuracy of the analytical results.Fatigue in ANSYS workbench is employed to analyze the finite meta-fatigue life.
