Liquid crystal display has become the mainstream in the flat panel display and has become more and more widely used in various applications because of its remarkable advantages such as small size,low energy consumption,high display quality,small radiation,and good anti-interference.Meanwhile the working environment is also becoming harsher and harsher.In order to ensure the normal display of the LCD under special environment,it is of great significance to analyze and resolve the abnormal display of the LCD.In this thesis,the abnormal phenomenon of optical display under vibrating environment was studied and a method to analyze this optical phenomenon was presented.Firstly,the vibrating tests of the small-size LCD was designed,which mainly included the test principle,the test equipment and the test scheme.Random vibrating tests,sweep frequency vibrating tests,and constant-frequency vibrating tests were carried out,and then the results were discussed and analyzed.After that,the finite element simulation model was established.The structural simulation and optical simulation were used to analyze the abnormal phenomena in the vibrating environment.Compared with the tests,the analytical method of the optical abnormal phenomenon under the vibrating environment of the liquid crystal display was determined.According to the established method,the optical characteristics of large-size LCDs were analyzed.By simulating the optical characteristics of the two large-size LCDs(LCD1 and LCD2)with the different LCD parameters and the different optical adhesive parameters,the rule that different LCD parameters will cause the different display and the possibility of the abnormal optical phenomenon of the LCD2 is less than the LCD1 were found.Optical adhesives with the different parameters will also affect the optical display.The larger the elastic modulus,the easier the abnormal optical phenomenon takes place.By using the analysis method proposed in this thesis,the possibility of the abnormal optical phenomenon of LCDs in vibrating environment could be estimated and try to reduce,which can improve the yield rate of the large-size LCDs and reduce the production cost.
