White light laser light with red,green and blue light mixing and become,with color gamut coverage,high color saturation,high brightness,low loss,the advantages of long life and so on,are display technology leading a new round of revolution--"full-color".As a display technology,the LCD display has the advantages of small size,light weight,low power consumption,portability and so on.In recent years,many researchers have done a lot of work in the field of laser display,and have made brilliant achievements.However,the research on laser liquid crystal display technology is still very little.Laser liquid crystal display,combined with the advantages of laser display and liquid crystal display,not only has important academic research space and value,but also has a huge market for commercial prospects.In this paper,some key technologies of laser backlight module for liquid crystal display are studied,and the following are listed as follows: 1.The red and green and blue laser with fiber coupled output mixed white light laser can be used in liquid crystal display.Because the common optical fiber coupling module is the optical fiber end face,each module can only emit a laser beam,and each monitor needs a plurality of light emitting points,which requires a plurality of modules,and the complexity and cost of the system are increased.In this paper,we design and study the method of side light emitting on the side surface of the fiber,which can make an optical fiber coupling module to have a plurality of light emitting points.Simulation analysis of different Kong Shen,hole size,hole geometry on the fiber side processing parameters on the effect of light field,the illumination spot corresponding to a maximum value at 5% uniformity within the scope of the uniform light field.2.Research on laser speckle reduction technique.Due to the interference of the laser itself,the speckle effect of laser source will seriously affect the quality of the display,to solve this problem,the laser liquid crystal display technology is mature and the market condition,it is of great significance.According to the semiconductor laser as the light source of the backlight module of liquid crystal display,a TN type E7 LCD constructed speckle suppression device to explore the frequency and voltage on the effect of speckle suppression,successfully speckle contrast is reduced from 6.52% to 2.80%,less than 4%,can not be aware of the human eye.
