In recent years,the field of wide field imaging system plays an important role,but in the process of a wide range of imaging provided,and image distortion will occur to some extent,the distortion affecting the target observation and calibration.Therefore,it is necessary to carry on the real-time wide-angle lens distortion correction.In this paper,the real time distortion correction technology for large field of view is studied in light of optical design and image processing.According to the design requirements of wide-angle lens,based on the related optical design theory,we designed a large field lens with field angle 125 degree,and analyzed the image quality by ZEMAX.Through the study of the theory of space imaging and the theory of nonlinear geometric distortion,the ideal imaging model of the camera and the distortion imaging model of the optical system are established.The existing model algorithm of distortion geometric correction and image grayscale correction is studied,and the advantages and disadvantages and application value are discussed.In order to meet the requirements of high precision,small amount of calculation of the requirements of the topic of distortion correction based on relative distortion model,spherical aberration model and FOV model of object method based on the combination of the FOV and the distortion coefficient,a distortion correction model based on nonspherical equivalent;the model is simple and convenient.Advantages;model for re calibration of the distortion center coordinates based on improve the accuracy of calibration model;finally designs the corresponding correction algorithm.In order to ensure the real-time performance of distortion correction,a real-time distortion correction and display system of large field of view objective based on CPU+GPU hybrid platform is designed in this paper,after in-depth research of OpenCV function module and CUDA parallel architecture.The experimental results show that the correction rate of the system for ultra-high resolution video can reach 98.50%,and the correction and display time of each frame is 0.039 s,and the speedup ratio reaches 47.1,which meets the requirements of real-time correction and display.In this paper,the real time distortion correction system has the characteristics of low consumption,high precision,simple and easy,good portability,low cost and so on.Applicable to a variety of wide field of view lens real-time correction,it can be widely applied to engineering practice.
