With the rapid development of computer technology, image identification and object locating have been stepped into the digital phase, and they have already been used in many subject areas such as scientific discovery, industrial manufacture, communication technology, environmental protection, criminal investigation, biomedicine, cultural art, archeology, mapping and intelligent transportation. Due to this trend, the image distortion correction method has also become one of the hot topics. CCD camera distortion correction has become an important research topic in the field of visual inspection and computer vision. Based on this, this paper focuses on the CCD lens distortion correction method.According to the research status at home and abroad, the paper provides a simple method of correction distortion CCD camera system on optical imaging rule, In order to better satisfy the visual and measurement applications. According to the CCD image distortion calibration and image correction, the papers in-depth study and discussion, which has mainly focuses on the following aspects of the work:Firstly, Paper carried out a detailed introduction to the theoretical premises and the actual process of the CCD imaging. This analyzes the relationship between the different projection models and imaging. The same time, coordinates and conversion of the actual imaging process, the paper carried out the description on the detailed analysis and mathematical formulas.Secondly, on the basis of analyze, summarize the existing conventional calibration methods and self-calibration method for these two major calibration method, In this paper, one for independent internal parameters of CCD calibration method based on self-calibration and validated according to the distortion mode. Thirdly, experiments using two different size-resolution CCD image distortion correction, calibration, obtained two CCD image distortion changes the graph. Collected using a CCD picture, according to the recovery curve of the distorted image pixels of the image distortion changes and achieved a good correction.Fourth, the paper is a set of concentric circles of radius as a control point, to avoid the threshold to select inappropriate errors in the process of extracting image coordinates. Round in the imaging, the need to adjust the vertical axis before they can make the CCD acquired images to keep the round. During the experiment, the paper self-designed a method of adjusting vertical axis adjustment according to the actual requirements.In this paper, the target for the design, computer programming is automatically generated, reducing the impact of human factors in the production process of the target. Concentric inner circle radius as the set of distortion correction of base radius, the paper uses a correction method based on the linear deformation of a straight line, circle radius of the innermost data correction, then for data processing, finally draw the image distortion the image curve is smoother, the modified approach in which the reference radius, more objective and accurate data results. The image distortion correction validation results show that this method fully meet the requirements of the engineering survey, a high practical value.The above theoretical analysis and experimental results show that the CCD image distortion correction method for high precision, is a simple, effective, practical correction methods to meet the required standard of high precision non-contact optical measurement systems. It should be noted is that this method requires the measured object and the CCD is still, for the measurement of moving objects, which requires further analysis.
