Throughout history,in the American writer Charles sterling,"the medium is the life" this book illustrates the fact that t.he history process of the mass media is by the technical innovation in the history of the formation,every media revolution has brought the economic,political,cultural and the great changes in the entire world,also affect the people of each particular period.Similarly,medium in the process of development of Chinese society during the period of the republic of China and the people from all walks of life also has inestimable influence,yu dafu as typical character during the period of the republic of China,for the life medium of research during the period of the republic of China has great significance.This article selects the Yu Dafu's diary as text,trying not to show a full and complete medium of Yu Dafu's life,the analysis of the effect of media on Yu Dafu life and Yu Daft's influence on the media,thus further complete the life of literati during the period of the republic of China media the research of this subject.This study adopts the method of full sample collection.Select all the diaries and letters,in the Yu Dafu's diary time span is from reading the third year(1917)diary(February 25,1917-December 20)to the published in June 1937 "youth community"12(no.1 on the return trip diary(April 30 to May 4,1937),the time span of 20 years,total to more than 30 words.The media statistics,Yu Dafu diary article unscrambles 515 contains the content of the media,involves the following several ways:a total of newspapers and magazines,telephone and telegraph,radio,movies,books,speech and drama,eight theatre specific way of medium.After analyzing the eight media methods one by one,it is concluded that the influence of the mass media on the life of the characters is dependent on media participation.In the process of being subtly influenced by mass media,people themselves also use mass media to produce their own social influence.This paper tries to study the media life of typical characters in the typical period,so that more people can understand the media life in the period of the republic of China,and the influence of the media on the people's life in the republic of China.In view of the limited media form at that time,as a kind of printing medium,books played a very important role in the media life,cultivating Yu Dafdu's literary accomplishment,and speaking as a medium of face-to-face expression played a great role in spreading Yu Dafu's political thought.At the same time,Yu Dafu used several media to expose the darkness and unreasonable of that era,and aroused countless young people to devote themselves to the cause of revolution.
