Mobile communication technology is developing towards the next generation of long-term evolution.The operators,equipment,semiconductor manufacturers all over the world are studying on their own LTE solutions.In the past years,many vendors'base stations combine the design of DSP and FPGA.With the powerful function,the improving technology and the processing capacity of FPGA,it brings LTE communication system design and implementation more challenges,as well as research value and practical significance.This article is based on the basic principle of 3 GPP LTE physical layer protocol design and implements the baseband processing and testing system based on FPGA.,completing the 20 consecutive data block baseband signal receiving and launching process.This paper have mainly completed the following work:(1)The basic principle of the physical layer,according to the 3 GPP LTE downlink control channel is studied in a transmitter and a receiver algorithm implementation of each module,making sure the design of baseband transmission system.Among them,the transmitter part is composed of data,inspection,coding,rate matching interweave,scrambling,modulation,and OFDM processing module;Receiver part consists of the interference,OFDM demodulation,demodulation and decoding,such as synchronization module.(2)Using the Altera DE2-115 the FPGA board as a platform as well as Verilog HDL language to complete the FPGA logic circuit.Using Modelsim software timing simulation,the function of the system and Altera corporation Signaltap II tool in the hardware platform aspirant andante level signal accuracy verification.(3)This system in the construction of the innovative codec test platform is joined by the Matlab simulation test,validity and consistency to the coding of the FPGA system for testing.Experimental results contrast surface,downlink control channel of a transmitter and receiver to realize the expected function,LTE downlink link of the physical module has reached the requirement of agreement index algorithm.The platform can be used as a prototype of LTE base station equipment,for the next generation of wireless communication of LTE technology verification work.
