Abstract/Summary:
When the 3G wave sets off in China,and TD-SCDMA-related industries are carried out in full swing at the same time, we can see that as the 2G wireless mobile telecommunication system which has been commercially used for many years, and has nearly 400 million users and a national network coverage, GSM will continue to exist and develop in the domestic. Therefore, the coexistence of 3G and 2G networks is not not only inevitalble, but also with long-term. In this case, dual-mode or multi-mode handset market will be an inevitable choice during the transition phase.The objective of this dissertation is research and implementation of GSM uplink baseband processing, which includes needs analysis,outline design, detailed design, coding, debugging, and maintenance of physical layer baseband DSP software.Till now, the results of the dissertation has been applied by a civil instrument enterprise and passed various certifications, which proved the testing performance is reliable and stable.This dissertation mainly includes three aspects:1.To introduce the DSP used in the project and its development debugging environment. To introduce DSP features and the characteristics of CCS development environment.2. To describe the physical layer standards for GSM, give a brief introduction of GSM terminal test set function and overall framework. To describe hardware and software design and interface design of the baseband system, which includes baseband board structure,baseband software system, the interface of DSP and protocol stack, the interface of DSP and FPGA.3.To describe the algorithm design of each functional module in uplink baseband, implementation and processing functions, decoding process of the logical channel, which includes RACH, SDCCH, SACCH and TCH logical channels.At the same time, to give the channel parameters and the processing flow chart.
