To meet the demand of TD-SCDMA subscribers for high speed data service, especially in uplink, HSUPA has been introduced in TD-SCDMA. Terminal radio frequency test plays a significant role to guarantee the required performance of user equipment. The requirements for TD-HSUPA terminal test set are quite urgent.Through theory researching, algorithm planning, coding and debugging, research and realization of uplink baseband signal processing of HSUPA in TD-SCDMA terminal test set has been completed. The theories in this essay have already been commercially used in market with excellent feedback.The main contents of this essay are as follows:At first, the background and the significance are stated, followed by introduction of E-RUCCH and E-PUCH, uplink physical channels in TD-HSUPA. Then is the method used for uplink channel estimation in test set, including signal detection and channel response removing. Implementation of E-RUCCH and E-PUCH processing has been discussed in steps, with hardware/software environments. After the implementation, the results have been analyzed and the feasibility has been validated. Finally, a summary has been made as well as the development and challenges faced in the future.
