The development of wireless network technologies has completely changed the pattern of mobile communication world.Many technologies are advancing towards better service,broadband access and seamless migration for users.The diversity of heterogeneous wireless networks provides a new opportunity for the fusion of wireless network,but also puts forward higher requirements of network access technologies.The development of network technologies has great effect on terminal devices.At present,smart terminals,which can support the cellular mobile network,WLAN,Bluetooth and other wireless access technologies,become more and more popular.Abundant network resources and powerful smart terminals make users' requirements on networks convert from"always connected" demand to "always best connected" demand,namely user terminals keep best connected anytime and anywhere.In order to achieve this goal,users are eager to have a valid access network selection mechanism,it can help users choose the best network connection in the complex wireless network environment.According to the relevant data,information communication industry's energy consumption accounts for about 3%of the world,its annual carbon emissions accounts for about 2%of the world,even more than carbon emissions of world aviation industry,and has a tendency to sustained growth.How to construct highly energy-efficienct access selection scheme in heterogeneous wireless networks is an urgent and important issue.Therefore,research on energy-efficient access selection scheme has become a hot topic in heterogeneous wireless networks.First of all,this thesis studies the selection algorithm of access networks based on the multi-criteria utility theory.It provides users with more accurate network selection through the analytic hierarchy process and utility theory.It can avoid the defects of existing schemes,in addition,it contains the weight change mechanism and network resource adjustment mechanism.To ensure the interests of users,users are distributed in each network evenly to realize the network load balancing.What's more,the existing access algorithms don't take energy efficiency of networks into account,while our algorithm chooses energy efficiency as an important access standard to build a green communication network.The simulation results show that the proposed algorithm can improve the network efficiency significantly.Finally,to attain better energy efficiency of networks,this thesis also studies the access network selection algorithm based on game theory.Network operators establish network system to provide access and service for users and gain benefits,benefits will increase with the incensement of users.As decision makers,in order to maximize their own benefit,network will compete for users' attention,so the interests between networks are conflict.This thesis solves this problem through the game theory.According to the classification and summary of game theory,this thesis treats heterogeneous network operators and users as the players of the game.We use Bertrand game model.At the same time,we explore the influencing factors of network utility and the benefits of the non-cooperative game.This thesis treats the network energy efficiency as an important factor to realize effective energy conservation and sustainable development of communication networks.Simulation results show that our access selection algorithm can reduce the energy consumption of networks,improve energy efficiency of networks,and raise the user satisfaction degree.
