With the rapid development of mobile communication technology and wireless network's evolution, the wireless technologies which contain the existing and the new developing in the future will complement and competition each other, providing to users with the heterogeneous network environment. However, different access technologies have different bandwidth, delay, coverage and mobility support, there is no wireless network to simultaneously satisfy the wide coverage, low latency, high bandwidth, low cost, etc.. So the interoperability and integration of wireless network will become an inevitable trend in the development of wireless communication in the future. But in this trend, how to provide the management of mobility to users and terminals to ensure the seamless roaming is one of the most pressing needs in the next generation wireless network. However, handoff management is an important part of the mobility management, so, handoff becomes a key technology of network integrated, and so if a mobile node locates in an overlapping area with several heterogeneous networks, how to choose an appropriate network attracting a large number of domestic and foreign scholars and research institutions to conduct in-depth study and discussion. So according to the complexity of heterogeneous networks and particularity, this thesis was studied the heterogeneous wireless networks selection algorithm in a complex handoff scenario. The main contents are as follows:Firstly, a typical and complex heterogeneous wireless networks vertical handoff scenario which contains WiMAX and Wi-Fi network was adopted to study the vertical handoff decision algorithm. Also in this scenario, the mobile node is a multi-modules terminal can suppose the multiple air interfaces.Secondly, in the overlap area of multiple heterogeneous wireless networks, there exits a case that some nodes choose the target network continuous and dynamic aim at the different candidate networks, so we introduced the repeated-game with unfix players and the consumer goods market transactions model was adapt to solve the problem of network selection among heterogeneous wireless networks.Thirdly, the simulation experiments show that the proposed algorithm not only to ensure load balancing among the various networks, but also to increase the payoff of each cooperative network and the total payoff of the network side and make the network resource allocate reasonable.
