Under the premise of the rapid development of wireless communication technology, the heterogeneous wireless network convergence environment based on the coexistence of a variety of network access, terminals, and customer service is bound to development trend in the future. In a variety of technologies related to heterogeneous wireless networks, the algorithm of access selection is an important technology which can guarantee that the mobile users will get a good quality of service, the network resources will be fully used and the network load will keep balance. The effective allocation of network resources can effectively guarantee the interests of both the network operators and the mobile users. In the past ten years, the application of game theory in the wireless network has made many positive results, and it has been widely paid attention to and discussed that the use of the theory and method of game theory to solve the related problems in heterogeneous wireless network.Game theory generally thinks that the participants of the game are completely rational, but in the real heterogeneous network environment, the users' cognitive ability will be limited. They will lack the ability to predict the existing behavior according to the former decision-making behavior of other users. Therefore, compared with the complete rationality of the participants which is usually assumed in the game theory,we consider the users have limited rationality, which is more closer to the practical situation. In this thesis,we use the evolutionary game theory to analyze the heterogeneous network selection process made by the limited rational users who have got incomplete information.Through establishing the evolutionary game model of the dynamic selection process made by multiple groups,we try to analyze the users' dynamic behavior of the network selection. The results show that through the network selection algorithm based on the group evolutionary game, the users will constantly adjust their own network selection strategies to make them more closer the evolution equilibrium state. As for the problem of resource allocation, this thesis introduces the multi-leader and multi-follower Stackelberg games model to analyze the relationship between the mobile users and the network operators, and it designs a heterogeneous wireless network resource allocation algorithm which can balance the interests of both the operators and the users.First,we design a user's utility function based on earnings and cost, which can guarantee the existence of non-cooperative game equilibrium between the users.Next,a distributed iterative algorithm is proposed to obtain the optimal price strategy of the operators and the optimal bandwidth strategy of the users.By using this algorithm, the users and the operators can both get the Nash equilibrium point of their own game, and the entire Stackelberg game also gets the sub-game perfect Nash equilibrium solution.Through the simulation experiments,we have got the perfect Nash equilibrium solution of the sub-game of the Stackelberg game, and also the optimal price strategy of the operators and the optimal bandwidth strategy of the users.
