At the beginning of 2016,the incident of "emperor went to Facebook" has aroused wide discussion in the media and academia.Following this incident,a series of events such as the "South China Sea arbitration case" "the Olympic Horton incident" and "sad missile incident" were concentrated on the national interests and dignity events,making the Sina micro-blog platform patriotism spread in the cyberspace,especially in a large number of youth groups.In the network cluster action in the name of patriotism,in the huge public opinion upsurge,the performance of the "small pink" group,which is the main body of the network patriotic youth after90 and 00,is particularly worthy of attention.Under the background of the new media era,the social identity theory of Haug and Dominic as the theoretical basis,mainly from the direction of case study,the state of "small pink" group social identity is described and presented as a whole.In the dynamic process of frequent activities of "small pink" group,the social identity of the group is mainly divided into two parts: "internal" and "external".With the internal identity of great patriotism,they launched the network war actively for the "Idol" of the motherland,but their external identity has a certain contentious nature.The main findings of this study are the following.First,the development of the new network media plays an important role in the formation and activity of the "small pink" group.The composition and characteristics of this group are closely related to the characteristics of the new media.Second,the inner identity of "little pink" group is displayed through words,practice and ritual.Third,in the face of negative external identification,the group has both positive coping style and negative coping style.Through the qualitative analysis,we can see that the "small pink" group has great energy in patriotism,but if this enthusiasm and energy are not guided in a proper way,it is easy to cause negative public evaluation and even influence the order and security of cyberspace.At the aspect of body level,media level and management level,reasonable suggestions and management methods were put forward respectively.
