In recent years,with the deepening of social reform,the continuous development of science and technology,the gradual rise of knowledge economy,the increasing concern of the whole society for cultural undertakings,making the survival and development of China's library industry,internal and external environment has undergone tremendous improvement,This also has a certain impact on the career development of librarians.Lenin once said,"Librarians are the soul of a library."Therefore,strengthening the management of university librarians is an important guarantee for the construction of university libraries.Management is the core of the organization,and incentive is the core of management.It is a powerful means to inspire the vitality of the library and make it play its specific social efficiency by implementing incentive management in the work of university libraries.Therefore,how to reasonably construct and improve the incentive mechanism of university library,to maximize the effectiveness of its human capital,is an urgent problem worthy of study.Based on the investigation and analysis of the incentive mechanism of the librarians in key universities in Fuzhou,this paper demonstrates the problems in the process of the encouragement of the librarians in the key universities of Fuzhou by using the theory of incentive and human capital.At the conceptual level,this paper introduces the concept of human capital into the encouragement of university librarians,hoping to provide better decision-making ideas for university library administrators.At the practical level,this paper analyzes the organizational culture inspiration,Salary incentive,performance appraisal incentive,training and development incentive and career planning incentive,and puts forward some countermeasures and suggestions on the encouragement of university librarians in combination with human capital theory and survey results.
