Since the outbreak of virtual reality in 2016,the virtual reality technology has been developing rapidly in china.Virtual reality technology is one of the three major technologies of information technology,it is the use of computer software to create a three-dimensional interactive simulation system.China is the biggest country of information industry leading,virtual reality technology is crucial to the development of our country,in order to expand the application of virtual reality technology,and it is convenient for user understanding of laboratory equipment and environment,this paper realizes the virtual scene roaming.Virtual reality technology lies in the real sense of reality and the efficient 3d model.Traditional virtual scene roaming scenario structures,it is through the geometry modeling,mapping,and rendering steps to implement,not only time-consuming,authenticity is not strong,moreover,to create a large number of object model to build a large amount of calculation.In order to break through the traditional virtual roaming,scene modeling based on the image,its simple and convenient process,realize the scene reality is strong,short time-consuming,small amount of calculation.Taking into account the different needs of the user to the degree of immersion,this paper implements two sets of laboratory virtual scene roaming system,which is a non-immersive virtual scene roaming and immersive virtual laboratory roaming.Non-immersive virtual scene walkthrough system is based on Web platform,and does not depend on hardware.This paper creates a laboratory website as the entrance of non-immersive laboratory virtual scene roaming system,the use of ultra-wide angle camera data acquisition,using image registration and fusion technology spliced into a 720 degree panorama,will be imported into the Pano2VR software to build a scene on the scene and realize the interactive function,including:scene zoom,full screen display,automatic roaming information display,background music,radar map navigation,thumbnail.Radar map navigation convenient for users to know their location and orientation,the thumbnail is to facilitate the user to quickly reach the target scene.Immersive virtual walkthrough system relies on VR hardware.In this paper,the use of HTC Vive helmet display instead of the desktop display,full immersion in the laboratory virtual walkthrough system.Immersive walkthrough system uses Unity 3D software to realize scene modeling and interactive function.Prior to the use of panoramic view,cut into 6 small map,in the Unity 3D to create the material ball,import small map,create the sky box,build 3D scene.HTC Vive connection with the software system requires Stream VR Plugin plug-ins to achieve,the use of collision detection technology to create Box Collider,line of sight met Box Collider,the scene jump.
