Tactical data link is the guarantee of the interconnection and resource sharing among the operational units, such as operational platform, command center, communication system and weapon equipment. An adhesive that is known as the combat effectiveness of the army.As one of the important symbol of the development of information warfare, tactical data link overcomes the defects of many traditional combat platforms fight the enemy separately. The real-time monitoring and the situation in the battlefield perception gain advantages to grasp the battlefield situation and improve the efficiency of decision and enhance the combat capability. Therefore,it can be said that the research and application of tactical data link has a crucial impact on the modern and future information warfare. The research of tactical data chain at home and abroad has never stopped. With the in-depth study,anti-jamming technology, access control protocol, modulation and demodulation technology, integrated platform, link software radio technology has become the key technology for the research on tactical data link in recent years and the next step.Access control protocol determines the way in which each user site in the tactical data link system shares the channel resources, which has an important impact on the system performance, and has been a hot issue in the research of tactical data chain. The access control protocol based on polling mechanism conforms to the membership of the tactical unit in the army, and can effectively overcome the transmission collision caused by the simultaneous access of the multi user.It solves the problem of packet loss and energy loss caused by access conflicts. Therefore, the polling access control protocol is widely used in tactical data link.In this paper, three traditional polling access control protocols are analyzed. The three kinds of traditional polling access control protocols are designed and implemented by making full use of the advantages of high speed, flexibility and portability of FPGA.Through the simulation test and statistical analysis, the correctness and feasibility of the design are verified from two aspects of the system function and the index parameters.According to the actual problem of priority service control among multi users in tactical data link system and three traditional polling access control protocols a lacking of priority control, priority service polling access control protocol(PPACP)and multi priority service polling access control protocol(MPPACP)are proposed.System modeling and performance analysis of PPACP and MPPACP are carried out.The effectiveness of PPACP and MPPACP in service priority control is verified by MATLAB simulation. Finally, the two kinds of polling access control protocols are designed and implemented based on FPGA.Through the simulation test and statistical analysis, the correctness and feasibility of the design are verified from two aspects of the control function and the index parameters.
