Study On Unpublished Regional Literature Resources Construction Service

Currently,the public libraries are willing to create unique literature collection.Due to various types,unique content,rich information,which makes unpublished literature more valuable.It is a different way that library can build special literature collection and provide creative information service.But its uncertain sources,different levels of contents,limited broadcast areas,unclear position in law,which are hindering its development.In recent years,however,there has some exploitation and utilization on unpublished literature in China,such as dissertation,report and conference literature etc.There are still abundant unpublished literature in local literature system,it is the weakness in literature construction of public library.This study is based on the cognition of local unpublished literature,first discussed the significance of public library exploiting this kind of literature and providing the relative service.Then selected serval public libraries which are specialized in doing local literature work in Yunnan province as the examples to investigate their state of local unpublished literature and what they've done on it and analyzed the relative existed problems.In the end,concluded some measures which public library should take to construct the local unpublished literature and provide connected service,which can as the advice to use.There are seven parts of this paper:First chapter introduced the background of this paper,then according to the research situation in China and overseas,accounting for the significance,content and approaches of this paper.Second chapter defined the unpublished literature and the local featured unpublished literature at first,based on these and analyzed the significance and advantages of public library to do relative literature construction.Third chapter selected serval public libraries in Yunnan province,which are specialized in doing local literature work as investigation objects,then introduced their state of local unpublished literature and analyzed its features.Forth chapter introduced what those libraries have done to construct the local unpublished literature and provide the relative service,including collecting,management,books controlling,digitalization construction etc.Fifth chapter is based on the results to think over the problems on local unpublished literature work of public libraries in Yunnan province.Sixth chapter combined the result and author's consideration to put forward some measures to develop local unpublished literature and as the experience to reference.
