With the rapid development of wireless communication and multimedia technology,industry users' demand on multimedia services is rising.The wireless multimedia trunking communication system,which is characterized by "Full Control,Real-time Visiable",has become the future development direction of trunking communication system.The video service is widely used in the wireless multimedia trunking communication system.How to improve the quality of experience(QoE)for the wireless video service has been a hot topic in academia and industry.And the trunking terminal software is critical to the user' QoE.Therefore,the research and development of wireless multimedia trunking terminal software with QoE guarantee is of great significance.Firstly,the overall architecture and components of the wireless multimedia trunking system are introduced in this paper.Then some key technologies,such as Android NDK technology,SIP protocol,RTP/RTCP protocol,QoE,have been deeply researched.Secondly,the software architecture of trunking terminal is designed with the thought of models and layers.The signaling module is extended to support various multimedia services.And trunking services,such as registration,single call,group call,floor management,group call video pushing and geolocation service,are realized.Then,a QoE-based wireless video transmission optimization scheme is proposed to improve the users' QoE of the wireless video service.The video content,packet loss rate and bit rate are taken as influencing factors to predict QoE of the video service.Based on the users' QoE and network state,a QoE-driven transmission rate adaption scheme is proposed to solve the network congestion problem.And the error control scheme based on RS code is adopted to reduce the impact of radio packet loss and further optimize the users' QoE.At last,the detailed test and analysis of the the trunking terminal software are carried out.The results show that the software can meet the requirements of trunking communication system,and it has good expandability and robustness.The QoE-based wireless video transmission optimization scheme can effectively guarantee the users'QoE.
