With the development of China's economy and the improvement of international status,China's publishing industry becomes more and more influential in the world.The internationalization of publishing promotes the prosperity of copyright trade.The prosperity and development of China's copyright trade is combined with the hard work of copyright agency.The healthy development of the copyright agency market has related with China's status on international trade.In our domestic copyright agency market,there are three kinds of copyright agencies,such as the foreign copyright agency,the state copyright agency and the private-operated copyright agency.Overall,copyright resources in China copyright agent market is serious imbalance.The major three foreign copyright agencies—The Big Apple,Inc.,Bardon-Chinese Media Agency,Andrew Nurnberg Associates International Ltd.(Beijing Representative Office)occupy most of the foreign copyright resources,and the 28 state-owned copyright agency can't take the responsibility of maintaining the order of copyright agency market,only the Chinese Copyright Agency,Beijing Copyright Agency Company,Guangxi Wanda Copyright Agency Center still insist on doing copyright business.In comparison,the weakest private-operated copyright agencies maintain a positive attitude and enthusiasm of the publishing industry in the narrow space of the market,and strive to develop a niche market.After ten years of struggle,they have a certain scale.But compared with the foreign copyright agencies,their strength is still very weak.Therefore this study will be located in these small but strong private-operated book copyright agencies,in order to study the theory,to find the root cause of China's private-operated copyright agency develops slowly,to find a solution to the problem,as a reference for China's private-operated copyright agency in the future business strategy,hope our domestic private copyright agency can expand team,to play a greater role,especially to make greater contributions to introducing Chinese culture to the world.However,from the present point of view,due to the external factors of the social environment and its own internal factors,China's private-operated book copyright agency is facing many difficulties to be solved.Therefore,this paper used the literature analysis method,comparative study of the history of the copyright agency to conduct the research,through the development of the status quo comparison of foreign copyright agency and domestic copyright agency,to find the root cause of China's private-operated copyright agency about slow development.In the fourth chapter and the fifth chapter deeply studies the 16 professional private-opearted book copyright agency,through questionnaires,case analysis and other methods,operation and characteristics of each company are analyzed,and then the SWOT analysis of China's private-operated literary agency is facing opportunities and challenges of business strategies that provide guidance for the future direction of development.I think that China's private-operated literary agency has dual attributes,the intermediary property as copyright agency,as well as the attribute of private-operated enterprises,so compared with other properties of the literary agencies,it has commonness and individuality.Overall.China's private-operated copyright agency is still in the initial stage of development,they are in small scale,and develop slowly.In order to solve the problem of private-operated literary agency in Mainland China,we must first solve the problem of copyright agency in our country.Secondly,we should solve the problem of private-operated company's own limitations.China's national copyright awareness is poor,the legal system is not perfect and the professional quality of the staff is low,and so on.To enhance of people's awareness of copyright,the strong support of government departments is really needed.The legal system of our country is constantly improving,and the country has also introduced a number of policies to encourage the development of private book industry,and create a favorable social environment for the development of private cultural enterprises.Of course,more importantly,China's private-operated literary agency should solve their own problems,such as the company's low quality of employees.This thesis makes a comprehensive analysis on private-operated literary agency in Mainland China on the aspects of the basic condition of management,management model,Income,social influence,problems,then put forward some suitable suggestions for the development.
