The Development Of New Journalism In China

New journalism came into being in the United States in 1960s,it not only re-positioning the concept of news reports,but also bring the new concept into the specific news practice.In our country,along with the newspaper reform,the new journalism reports began to appear in China in the news reports,and by virtue of their own advantages,occupy a space.Therefor,the new journalism research practice and development in China,is not only analysis to observe the process of its localization,but also a microcosm of China's news environment.This paper takes the media ecology theory as the framework,from the concept of New Journalism definition,research contents include:the reasons and theoretical connotation of New Journalism emerged in our country,the characteristics and influential factors of each stage of its development,and combined with a specific analysis of New Journalism works.As the same time,this paper uses the method of cases analysis,to analysis the classic journalism works of Southern Weekly,Bing Dian,Southern People Weekly Magazine,Esquire China,and GQ China.In the meanwhile,this paper uses comparative study to compare the development of New Journalism in the USA with the situation of our country,trying to clarify the similarities and differences between them,in order to provide advice for the development of New Journalism in our country.This study found:the rise of New Journalism in China is closely related to the policy system,economic level and social environment,and influenced by existentialism and multicultural background;the new communication technology and media technology provide ideas for the development of New Journalism;the continuous practice of New Journalism in China also has injected fresh blood into the academic circles how to think about the meaning of news.This research has carried on the theory level excavation and the exploration to the new journalism theory.This kind of practice,no doubt,has a certain practical significance for the study of journalism theory and the practice of journalism.At the same time,it is helpful to observe the further practice of new journalism in the framework of the theory of media ecology,and to explore whether it has a long life in the soil of our country.
